On a recent buying trip to Loreto, Italy, we found these beautiful silver Miraculous Medal necklaces. This particular Miraculous Medal necklace is a dainty, delicate size perfect for young girls or women who love drop pendants. The Miraculous Medal was designed by the Blessed Virgin herself in 1830, and given to Sr. (now Saint) Catherine Laboure to spread the devotion, with a promise of winning extraordinary graces for those who wear the medal and pray for Mary’s help and intercession. The front of this medal features Mary with open arms, on the reverse of the medal is the letter "M" for Mary at the feet of the cross of Christ and intertwined with it, surrounded by a crown of twelve stars, and with the Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart side by side.
