Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
It clearly demonstrates what Jesus said "If you want to follow me , you must carry my cross." Padre Pio received many gifts but they came with much suffering. The path to holiness is difficult.

This is a great book and I recommend anyone who wants to know more about this great saint. Very informative and has a lot of details on the life of Padre Pio. It's a great book and I recommend it very much.
