Cons: Tends to be repeative;
Best Uses: Read a biography of saint;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
It clearly demonstrates what Jesus said "If you want to follow me , you must carry my cross." Padre Pio received many gifts but they came with much suffering. The path to holiness is difficult.

Saints are excellent role models who have followed God's will. Saint Pio is one such example. A must read for any one!
