Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I purchased the crucifix to wear daily. The crucifix is beautiful, with nice detail. Unfortunately, the chain broke the 2nd time I wore it as I slipped it over my head -- it really needs a clasp. Also, a slightly smaller version would be a nice option (crucifix is 2" long). Keep the length, but make the crucifix smaller and the chain less bulky (add a clasp!!!)
