I buy this book for my grandkids for their First Communion . I then add a picture of their parients on their First communion and a picture of me on mine . Now they have a keepsake and wonderful stories of the Saints. It's all good

This book, although described for children, is not appropriate for children. Both the illustrations and narrative are well beyond adolescence. Some of the pictures are pretty disturbing, quite frankly. I chose not to give them to my daughters.

This was a gift to my daughter for her First Holy Communion. She loves it! She reads about a different saint almost every day. Our entire family has enjoyed sharing it with her and learning about the saints. The pictures are beautiful and it is wrtten in child-friendly language, that gives important and interesting facts.
