Pierced Ironfish Pendant
Product Description
This Pierced Ironfish pendant is hand welded by a master blacksmith from genuine iron nails. The Christian fish symbol originated amongst early Christians as a secret symbol to identify one another while avoiding the risk of persecution. One person would draw half the fish in the sand and the other, if a Christian, would complete the symbol by drawing the second arc, thus creating the Christian fish. This particular Ironfish is pierced with a remembrance nail to further remind Christians of our faith and the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus’ crucifixion. The Pierced Ironfish pendant comes on a 15” leather cord, so it can be easily slipped on and off, along with an insert to further explain the meanings behind the Ironfish.People Also Bought
