The manuscript, which speaks of the spirituality of the desert, spread quickly from Gaul throughout the Roman Empire. Today, the island (Saint- Honorat) located on the French Riviera, is still home to Cistercian monks. This EWTN Original Documentary was filmed on location and explores the powerful spirituality described by the monk, St. Eucher, in his original letter.
