Pros: Excellent readings; Songs were beautiful; Good music quality;
Cons: Fast prayer recitation;
Best Uses: Praying the Rosary; Inspirational readings;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
For one, Alphonsus Liguori's writings are great. So having someone read selections from his works before each decade is very nice. The music pieces selected are fantastic. What is unusual about these CDs is that the priest reads Liguori's writings slowly and evenly. However, he recites the prayers of the Rosary TOO quickly. He says the first portion of the prayers and you're flying through and then when the congregants say the second half they say their portion slowly and evenly. Sometimes it sounds like the priest is getting tongue-tied! LOL He's like the Indi 500 of prayer recitation.
