I gave this to my 4th grade religious ed class as a gift for Easter. I had been teaching them the rosary which they embraced with wonder and passion. I hope this little book will also catechize the parents of this children and they can use it to pray the rosary together.

Praying the Rosary with your Child 4.00 out of 5

By: Momoftwomonkeys (Syracuse,NY, November 9, 2009)
Pros: Informative; Easy To Read; Deserves Multiple Readings; Well Written;
Best Uses: Younger Readers;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
It is missing the "Hail Holy Queen" prayer, Fatima "O My Jesus forgive us our sins..." prayer, and prayer to be said after the rosary. It would be nice if these were included. It also says (where it lists the prayers) "Here are the prayers you need to know to say the rosary. If someone else is saying it with you, you can say the first part of each prayer and someone else can pray the part that is printed differently"... they forgot to print part of the prayers differently as indicated. It does use simple explanations/wording for the mysteries to help a child understand it better & for that alone is a worthy investment.

I've been looking for a simple book to suggest to parents to teach and say the Rosary with their children. This is a good resource, simple to understand and cost effective for families.
