My sister did not raise her children as Catholics. These small books are great for people who have unanswered questions about faith and Catholicism. Best Uses: For fallen-away Catholics; Cons: none; Pros: Informative
(Prove It!) Catholic Teen Bible
Memorie Ybarra(Surprise, AZ., August 27, 2014)
I purchased (Prove It)The Catholic Teen Bible about 2 years ago in Phx,AZ. This is by far the BEST Teen Bible I've seen!! The inserts by Amy Welborn are amazing!! For those of you who have never seen a Bible with (Inserts), It's basically the whole Bible but through out the Bible there are 3-5 pages spread through out the Bible with promting questions ie: "Who are you?";"What is the Church?";"What is Prayer?";"Why pray to Saints?" ect... the list goes on. And through out those 3-5 pages which are beautifully illustrated, Amy Welborn does and AMAZING job answering and (Proving) where we can find that in the Bible. I originally bought this Bible for one of my nieces, but I loved this Bible so much I kept it for my self, because I find it easier to understand and also really engages me to "THINK" about what I am learning. As we know learning or teaching our children about the Lord can be difficult at times, and we often try to think of how we can engage or children. So if you haven't tryed this Bible yet, I suggest you go out and buy one!! Ps: In addition to the "Inserts"... along the side of the text in the Bible pages you will also find Cross-Refernces and Footnotes to help you.
