I will re-read and refer to this book often. Also, will highly recommend it to others. Have already bought as gift for others. Best Uses: Reference; Describe Yourself: Rarely Read; Pros: Deserves Multiple Readings, Engaging characters, Informative, Well Written
The revelations from the saints about Purgatory was frightning, but I am glad to have purchased this book. I did not realize that the torment was as bad as hell, especially the fire, except that the soul knows one day it will be in heaven. Everytime I open or close the oven it comes to mind! To counter this fright, the book describes what you can do to pay your debt and others in Purgatory in this life. St. Catherine of Genoa said that if purify yourself of your faults in this life, you satisfy with a penny a debt of a thousand ducats ($300,000).
