Product Description

Hard questions deserve solid answers.
  • Why am I unhappy?
  • Does everyone feel lonely sometimes?
  • How can I change my life?
  • What does God want of me?
  • Tough times demand eternal truths.

  • Why are young people rejecting Catholicism?
  • Why is the perception of Catholicism so negative?
  • Is it time for the Church to change?
  • What do the ancient traditions of Catholic spirituality have to do with modern lives?
  • For more than a decade, author, speaker, and retreat-leader Matthew Kelly has traveled the globe, sharing answers and offering the truth. They aren’t his. They’re the ones that have been taught by the Church since the first century. They’re the ones that have been lived by holy - and happy - men, women and children of faith since the time of Christ.

    Here - in a simple, convincing, and entertaining style - are answers and truths. Here is the answer. Here is the truth.

    Important to address the issue of depresssion as a worldwide problem due to a deficiency of sound principles. However, technically the North Star does move; it only appears to remain stable. The use of this metaphor is incorrect, so please correct the way you wrote about Polaris or use a more apt metaphor. Good reading. Dr. Carole

    Very Disappointing 1.00 out of 5

    By: slavador (canada, May 3, 2011)
    Cons: Disappointing; Author's ego trip;
    Best Uses: Kindling;
    Describe Yourself: Everyday Reader;
    Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
    Indulges in the causes of the Catholic Church in America's decline as if they are the way to fix the problems. Extremely condescending model of the human condition based on authors prejudices and his obvious distaste for traditional Christianity. For all those wondering, the purpose and goal of religion for Catholics is to reach everlasting life. The idea that societal transformation can be a goal as opposed to a welcome side effect of Christianity has no basis in reality and DESTROYS FAITH WHEN ATTEMPTED!

    I bought this product at a conference for Catholic Women. I've always thought that my life was lacking something and I just couldn't put my finger on what it was. I have been catholic all my life and have a good prayer life, or so I thought. My eyes where open on how to become a better self.. someone that I can be proud of and someone that God will be proud of too. I now have a desire to be holy and I believe that with the information this book gives it is now possible. This book is very easy to read and the information is very valuable.. If you are catholic and you think there is something missing from your faith life.. get this book.. you will never regret it.
