Beautiful Addition To The Rosary 4.00 out of 5

By: Glad (Mountains, North Carolina, December 30, 2010) Verified Buyer
Pros: Helpful;
Cons: Expanded booklet needed;
Best Uses: Very adaptable; Use dailyweekly;
Bottom Line:
The chaplet is lovely, and sturdy. The pictures at each " station" are a meditation. Once one has memorized one or two of the small additional prayers, it can go anywhere, be said at any time, whether for one sorrow, or for all of them. I love this feature! I recommend purchasing a book or pamphlet which gives the complete description of this devotion--it will add to the beauty of it. The full description is rich in understanding and explains the many ways to say the chaplet, and the beautiful history and additional prayers. This was my only negative in my purchase---the information about praying the chaplet was very sparse. However,the Fatima Center, offers a great booklet on Devotion to the Seven Sorrows. It made praying very meaningful and " rich". I would recommend this chaplet to anyone wanting to enrich their prayer life and devotion to Mary.

Wonderful Chaplet 5.00 out of 5

By: Mindy (Wisconsin, January 2, 2009) Verified Reviewer
Pros: Durable; High Quality; Good Value;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
This chaplet consists of seven sets of seven black beads, along with an additional four beads at the beginning, and a total of nine medals. The beads are large and round, very easy to handle. The medals are very colorful and touching, illustrating the Seven Sorrows of Mary, and on the back of each is a picture of Mary's heart pierced by seven swords. This chaplet is a good way of honoring Mary's tears and sufferings, and is great for penance.
