I wanted a small portable bible, but this is smaller than I expected from looking at the pictures. It would be helpful if they put a recognizable object next to it for comparison. The print therefore is even smaller, barly readable for me. Since I had it engraved i cannot send it back.

If you read 4 chapters a day you can read the entire Bible in a little less than a year. I keep this Bible in my purse so that if I find myself waiting anyplace, such as doctor's offices or restaurants, I have it and am able to continue my Bible study. It's a perfect size and the hard cover helps protect it from damage from the other items in my purse.

My everyday, all-purpose, bible. Sturdy, light and still readable. I can toss it in a purse or take it on the trail without worrying about it. It's already survived high winds in the Mojave, and a couple of hikes, and is still in great shape. Learn it. Use it. (Just try to) wear it out!

It is a very nice, compact edition of the RSV Catholic Bible. It's atypical color (a sort of midnight blue) is cool too. It is very reasonably priced. One of the great things about it is that it can be personalized, so it makes for a great gift. I gave this compact version to my husband for Easter. It is now his primary bible for travel and Bible study.
