After a long and hard search for a "Sacred Heart" statue, I finally found one! I went to many Catholic Bookstores, but the selections were appalling, some looked like cartoon characters. This Statue is heavy (for its size), graceful, and detailed. I am 44 years old, the statues I remember from my youth seem to be more respectful, and this one "fits the bill!" The details are nice and coloring is good. It is worthy of purchase. I found an old "prayer card" of the Sacred Heat and it resembles it…If you want something that is graceful and elegant- then this statue is for you and it is a good purchase.
