Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my 10 year old son. He really loves it. He made a point to wear it this morning for alter serving. This is well made--good for my son who plays hard, and the details are beautiful, but simple enough for a boy.
