Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I got this rosary for my fiance to celebrate his patron saint's feast day. We loved it and commented that it was "beautiful." I have to agree. It is very large - definitely meant to be a men's rosary. We would like to know what the Latin is on the back of the St. Patrick charm - the "Hail Holy Queen" part. From translating it online, I believe it says something like "Defend Her (Mary) with your sword." Other than that though, a very pretty rosary that my fiance was really excited to use. It seems to be really strong too so that it will hold up over the years. Also the lapel pin is really nice. He was excited for the next time he puts on his suit - he's planning on wearing it then.
