Bottom Line: No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
This bracelet is comfortable. The elastic used to hold the links seems sturdy. What I dislike most about the bracelet is that it doesn't have a guide to help me explain to people who want to know what the saints are. I bought this hoping that I could use it to educate people. I can't do that as I don't know who the saints are that are displayed, and I need a magnifying glass to recognize them!
