The front of the prayer card reads: "God grant me Serenity to accept the things I cannot change, Courage to change the things I can, and Wisdom to know the difference. Back of the card continues with: "Living one day at a time, enjoying one moment at a time. Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace. Taking, as Jesus did, this world as it is, not as I would have it. Trusting that You will make all things right if I surrender to Your will. So that I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with You forever in the next. Amen. -Reinhold Niebuhr"
Purchased the cards to share with our church RCIA group as a reminder. This is the second year I have done this.

Serenity Prayer Cards
Joan Hoorelbek(March 29, 2015)
I like to have them in my purse to hand out to family, friends, and clients at SVdP home visits, etc, esp for the verse: "Taking as Jesus did, this world as it is, not as I would have it."

I often encourage people with some sort of prayer card after we have a heart to heart talk (I don't know why but I attract people with need of direction). I thought it would be neat to pass out a serenity prayer since that one comes in handy. Much to my surprise, I had to order more because they come with a beautiful prayer in the back from Reinhold Niebuhr Best Uses: Comforting, Pass out people as needed; Pros: Bonus Track

I had my 60th Birthday Party and I gave out 130 cards - one to everyone. Great way to say thank you for being part of my life.
