Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
the orignial picture looks like the tips are black and that is what my grandson liked because it was different, but when we received it, the tips were silver. The photo was misleading and he was a little disappointed.

Cons: Chan was badly tangled;

I've been wearing it since I got it. Still lustrous and shiny. The only bad thing was the chain was all tangled up when it arrived and it was a real pain to untangle. Aside from that, wonderful!
