Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
Very, very beautiful. The print is not behind a glass or plastic frame, but it's not a regular paper print. I don't know what it's made of, but it's very sturdy, and the lack of a barrier to it makes it even lovelier to see. There might be a special glaze protecting the image; I'm not sure about that. But truly beautiful picture and frame.
