St. Maurus

Saint Maurus is the patron of cobblers, Azores, copper smiths, and shoemakers. He was a disciple of Saint Benedict of Nursia. Saint Maurus was also the founder and abbot of the Benedictine abbey in Glanfeuil, France. Many note that he could heal by prayer and raise people from the dead. St. Maurus' feast day is January 15th.
