We just built a new mantel in our living room. But our crucifix we had had for years in our living room, was a blonde color, which did not match our dark, cherry mantel & bookcase. I bought this one to go above the mantel & it looks beautiful! I can put the blonde crucifix in our bedroom. thanks!

I hung my crucifix next to my front door, which is also in living room. My guests always notice it and remark on how beautiful it is. The cherry wood and silver cruciform/St. Benedict's medal really stand out and it is a very nice size. I am very, very satisfied with purchase.

We wanted to have a nice crucifix for our wedding, following an ancient tradition of having our hands on it while saying our vows. It is a beautiful reminder on our wall now of our commitment to lay our lives down for each other. The detail on the corpus is very well done, as is the the Benedict medal in the center. My only complaint is that the color is much more red than we saw pictured. I like cherry, but not quite this color. Still, it is very high quality and would make a great gift.
