Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
This was a perfect gift for my 8 year old son who just received his first communion. He suffers from Kidney Disease, and from what I read online, St. Benedict is a patron saint of Kidney Disease (as well as other things). My husband wears a pendant as well, so my son was very excited to have one of his own. He wears it daily, and is able to take it on and off himself, and the product has held up to his activities (swimming, baseball, etc)!
