St. Dennis
St. Dennis was a missionary in Paris, France, and became it's first bishop. His accomplishments angered many pagans, and he was arrested and imprisoned by the Roman governor, and finally martyred under the persecutions of Valerius in the year 258. His feast day is celebrated on October 9th.
