St. Eucher

Saint Eucher was a monk, hermit, and bishop. He lived most of his life as hermit in a cave which suited him very well. During his hermitage he wrote many letters which have survived to today. These letters typically tell of tragic events in the Roman world and harp on the evils of the world. St. Eucher's feast day is November 16th.
