St. Eugene de Mazenod
Saint Eugene de Mazenod is the patron of dysfunctional families. He grew in a family plagued with in-fighting which culminated in divorce which was rare in aristocratic families such as his own. Saint Eugene de Mazenod was ordained a priest and worked as a missionary with the Missionaries of Provence in France. He eventually accepted higher positions of Church power which allowed him to found 23 parishes and build/restore 50 churches. By the time of Saint Eugene de Mazenod's death the Missionaries of Provence had grown to 400 strong in 10 countries. St. Eugene de Mazenod's feast day is May 21st.
