Product Description

Francis made it his habit to invoke all creatures to praise and love their Creator, and there were remarkable events of his speaking to the animals... even a time when he quieted a flock of noisy birds that were interrupting a religious ceremony! Perhaps the most famous story is when he tamed the wolf that was terrorizing the townspeople of Gubbio. St. Francis’ love for all animals of God’s creation is beautifully represented here, in the Renaissance Collection figure by Joseph’s Studio. Hand-painted resin, 9.75”.

Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. This is a nice statue,but the head isnt painted as nicely as another statue of St. Nicholas by the same Joseph Studio I bought. The cord around his waist should be painted white, not brown. The eyes on the wolf are very nice. After filling out all the check out forms with my address where I wanted it sent to Mexico and my credit card info, my order was rejected saying there is fraud in Mexico. So I had to go back and fill out all the forms all over again using my same credit card and had it sent to my sister in the US. She had to take it to the post office and remail it for me.
