This is a lovely and unique pet medal with a nice depiction of St. Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of animals. I purchased this pet medal for my 15-year old cat and I am very pleased with it as it is large enough to be appreciated yet light weight and seemingly comfortable. My cat has dragged it into the water bowl with no visible damage. My only complaint would be in the cost and result of engraving. It is rather expensive and the lettering is very faint. I would not use this as a sole means of pet identification. Customer service was excellent and the medal arrived in very good condition.

I got this tag for my dog- I think it is just wonderful! Not only is it a blessing to have him watched over by Saint Francis, it doubles as an ID tag, too!! Size and quality of the tag is perfect, too.

My daughter adopted a shelter dog that had been abandoned and from the minute that I saw her picture, I knew that St. Francis had to protect her. This will be my Christmas gift to the newest member of our family. I was disappointed, however, at the cost of engraving this medal. It is way too much.
