St. Hyacinth of Poland
Saint Hyacinth of Poland is the patron of Lithuania and Poland. He was the first polish Dominican and spread the Dominican Order throughout Poland through his evangelization efforts. Saint Hyacinth is remembered for having saved a crucifix and a statue of Mary from his monastery when it was under attack. St. Hyacinth of Poland's feast day is August 7th.
