St. Joseph Cafasso
Saint Joseph Cafasso is the patron of prisons, captives, and prisoners. He suffered with physical deformity throughout his life but was not discouraged as he continued to lead a life of enthusiastic missionary activity to prisoners. Saint Jospeh Cafasso is remembered for once leading 60 new converts to the gallows whom he termed as “hanging saints.” Saint Joseph Cafasso's feast day is January 23rd.
