Saint Joseph Freinademetz learned seven languages and devoted his life to missionary efforts. He spent most of his life as a missionary in China during a time in which many Catholics were harassed and persecuted. Saint Joseph Freinademetz was noted for evading deportation and preaching to attackers evil while undergoing torture and beatings.St. Joseph Freinademetz's feast day January 28th.
