Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I like this bible very much. My only complaint was that the cover had some kind of fragment of material on it when they stamped the name on the front cover. I pulled the fragment off which then left a small blank spot (it hard to describe - like a divot) in one of the gold letters.
