St. Kevin
Saint Kevin is the patron of blackbirds and Ireland. He lived as a hermit for seven years in a cave until he gathered a group of students which led him to found the monastery at Glendalough. Once the monastery was well-established he withdrew as a hermit again for four years. Saint Kevin has many legends surrounding him involving animals including a story told of him in which a wolf produced milk after being chastised for killing a doe he had called to produce milk. St. Kevin's feast day is June 3rd.
