Saint Michael the Archangel is the patron saint of grocers, mariners, paratroopers, police, paramedics and the sick. He is also considered the guardian of the Church.

St. Michael was one of the principle angels who fought against Satan. St. Michael medals make wonderful gifts for those in the military or police force. They may also be comforting to those who are sick.
