Product Description

This Sterling Silver US Navy St. Michael Medal measures approximately 1" in diameter and comes on a 20" sterling silver chain. Around the top are the words "United States Navy". Around the bottom are the words "St. Michael Protect Me." The back of medal is blank. Gift box included.

The medal includes the image of the US Navy Emblem. At the center is a paly with 13 stripes to represent the 13 original states. A bald eagle clutches an anchor in its talons while a chain circles the emblem.

Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I bought this medal for my nephew entering the US Navy. It was of very good quality. The ONLY con was the engraving. Each letter (although in cursive) was separate and not connected as in cursive writing.

Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I bought this medal for my son who enlisted in the US Navy. I had his nickname engraved on the reverse side of the medal. I was disappointed that the cursive font did not connect the letters, but instead each cursive letter was separate. If it weren't for the engraving issue, I would have given this 5 stars!
