St. Odilia

Saint Odilia is the patron against eye problems. She was born blind and therefore was kicked out by her noble family. A peasant family took in St. Odilia and at the age of twelve she joined a convent. She gained her sight during baptism and brought her brother back to life after he was killed by her father. St. Odilia fled to the mountains to avoid her father which opened up a cave for her to hide and dropped rocks on her father whom eventually gave up pursuing her. Saint Odilia became abbess and her feast day is December 13th.
