Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
We purchased this as a gift for my son on his Confirmation - his patron saint is St. Patrick. I was worried the medallion was going to be huge since we were getting it engraved, but this is a nice standard-size rosary and the engraving is beautiful and legible.
