This medal was purchased as a Confirmation gift for our son, and I can't wait to give it to him. What makes this medal so attractive is the attention to detail and clean-cut lines. It's not one of those items that looks pretty in the picture, but looks cheap and sloppily made up-close. What you see is exactly what you get. We had his name and confirmation date engraved on the back, and it also turned out beautifully. The price is very acceptable, [...] I'm sure I'll purchase another of these medals for our younger son...and our godson and our nephew and our goddaughter, and...

Cons: The metal scratches;
Bottom Line:
I ordered the St Peter metal for my husband's birthday and had it engraved on the back. Two days of wearing the engraved statement was barly legable from scatches. The metal is very soft and easily damaged.
