St. Theresa
Blessed Theresa of the New World was born in France at the turn of the seventeenth century. She was forced into an arranged marriage which left her after 2 years a single mother of one son and a widow. Blessed Theresa of the New World then had a vision in which all of her faults and human frailties were shown to her and she became covered in Christ's blood. This vision changed her life as she joined the Ursulines and later became the first superior of the Ursulines in Canada. Blessed Theresa of the New World's feast day is April 30th.
