St. Vincent de Paul

Saint Vincent de Paul is the patron of charitable societies. St. Vincent de Paul was ordained to priesthood in 1600 and was very involved in the mission work of the Priory of St. Lazarus. The Sisters of Charity owe the foundation of their congregation to Saint Vincent de Paul due to his charity and humility. St. Vincent de Paul's feast day is September 27th.
