Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I wanted a more stout chain for my cricific. I also don't like clasps. This was perfect for my Sterlin Silver Crucifix. This is very strong and so far has held up real well. Needed to get a new ring from crucifix to the chain though.

Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I searched a very long time for this. So many chains are focused on being fancy, or decorative. I bought this for my husband to replace the chain for his medal that keeps breaking at the clasp. Since this has no clasp, problem solved. It is difficult to find a chain with a purpose of durability. I searched MANY websites, and spoke with jewelers that were no help. This was perfect and a great length for easy on and off over the head. I knew what I wanted because it is just what my dad always had.

Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. I purchased 27" for my wife and 30" for me. Smooth stainless. No hair pulling. No rough scraping. Medals don't climb up the chain but hang nicely. It doesn't easily tangle with other neck chains. It has no hook so one must use a split ring for a medal, etc if not provided to hang it -- a fairly easy process. So won't break at the hook!
