This was a gift for a teenage grandson who lives by the ocean. This is the second one I bought for him. The rhodium chain on the first one rusted and then it slipped off of his head while swimming and was lost. He wanted it replaced with the exact same medal because he liked it so well. Will eventually replace the chain with a stainless steel one. Rhodium is not good in salt air climate!

MY DEVOTION TO THE SACRED HEART OF JESUS IS SUPPLEMENTED BY MY DEVOTION TO THE HOLY SPIRIT, BOTH HAVING A PROMINENT PLACE ON THE MEDAL. AS A BONUS, OUR LADY OF THE MIRACULOUS MEDAL IS VERY INSPIRING AS IS THE PRESENCE OF ST.JOSEPH WITH THE CHRIST CHILD. MY ONLY PROBLEM IS WITH THE LENGTH OF THE CHAIN AS THE LORD ENDOWED ME WITH A LARGE HEAD AND I HAVE DIFFICULTY TAKING IT ON AND OFF.

I was extremely happy with this purchase. It is a beautiful medal and very detailed which is what I was looking for. This was a present for someone who just received their Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation, and it was very happily received. It is meant to be worn everyday as a reminder of the Catholic faith.
