Product Description

This sterling silver crucifix is based on the design of the Papal “pastoral” staff with a bent cross that Pope John Paul II made so recognizable during his time as our shepherd in Rome. The cross measures 2"L, and comes with a 24" rhodium plated stainless steel continuous chain (no clasp), and jewelry box.

I wasn't too sure when I ordered this. I wanted a papal style in silver but I really wasn't sure if this was really the one by looking at the catalog photos. Receiving it laid all that to rest. This is truly excellent. If you are interested in this style crucifix order it. I really like the one piece chain also.

The only thing I would personally change is the jump ring, which is plated brass. But the crucifix and chain are top notch.

The product I received has an additional ring at the top of the cross (not pictured). This has the added advantage of ensuring the icon of our LORD stays in the proper direction - facing outwards.

Very nice crucifix. I love the style and it's great for a guy to wear. The chain is continuous so no silly clasp to deal with - which as I guy I can't stand to use.
