Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. The crucifix itself is very nice, not overly shiny for teens/men who aren't much into bling. The 20" chain needs to be longer. I bought a 24" chain to replace it so it would be an appropraite length for my 14 y.o. son who made his confirmation. The engraving was well done.

The image is clearly stamped, and the diamond cutting around the cross provides a nice shine in contrast to the more matt finish around the figure. The chain links are in proportion to the crucifix..not too small or too large...and there is a "C" ring clasp that is easy to work. The 20 inch length makes it a good choice for a man or a woman. Everyone who sees this says "Wow, where did you get that. I would like one." I hope that the Catholic Company keeps this in stock because it is a keeper and a super gift. I've already purchased a second one.
