Pros: Noclasp on chain;
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
Purchased the St. Michael's medal for a marine who is being deployed after Christmas. It's not a heavy medal so he really liked that. Oblong shape was perfect and the chain doesn't have a clasp so he won't have to worry about it breaking. He said he's seen some on the other marines that were round, heavy and bulky. He loves the one we got him.
