Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
I got this for husband who is a former paratrooper. The chaplain had given out St Michael medals with the 82nd emblem on the back and he was very dissapointed when he lost it. He said this is a good substitute, but would still prefer the original of course. It has a nice weight, his only complaint is he wishes it had a clasp.
