Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
The story is geared for younger children, but older kids can appreciate the message, too. In the story, a small girl asks why Jesus doesn't have a stocking since it is his birthday. The family gets a stocking for Jesus and fills it with their prayers and kind acts during Christmas. Our family also got a stocking for Jesus this year, and this started a new tradition that puts the emphasis on good works at Christmas.
