The Tara brooch was found in Co. Meath and dates from the 8th century A.D. Intricate gold filigree interlacing runs along its surface with amber and glass insets. This brooch was one of a pair linked by a chain and worn to hold a cloak on the shoulders. Product comes in gift box. Height 19cm, Width 19cm - Imported from Ireland. Made by Royal Tara.
