ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Abby Johnson holds a B.S. in psychology from Texas A&M University and an M.A. in counseling from Sam Houston State University. She was hired by Planned Parenthood in 2005 and was later promoted to health center director. Johnson ran both the family planning and abortion programs. In 2009 she left Planned Parenthood and joined the local Coalition for Life as a volunteer. She continues her volunteer activities and now works on projects with the national 40 Days for Life campaign.

Cindy Lambert, vice president and associate publisher at Zondervan, is a veteran of the bookselling industry. For nearly two decades she owned an award-winning bookstore before expanding into leadership roles in distribution, editorial, and publishing in such companies as Ingram, Simon & Schuster, and Zondervan.

She joined the leading Abortion Clinic Planned Parenthood, as a student, almost unintentionally. Through her work there, she felt, at the time, that she fulfilled her need to express her genuine compassion for the women she met and counselled. She was good at her job and achieved the role of Director at her local clinic. One memorable day in October 2009, help was needed in one of the operation rooms. She was asked to assist in performing the ultrasound scan whilst the Doctor terminated the client's pregnancy. Her life changed forever when she came face to face with the gruelling reality of abortion she had just witnessed. Her story is gripping, frank and respectful. She speaks honestly as she shares her personal experiences on both sides of the Pro-Abortion-Pro-Life Fence. Not only does her testimony open our eyes to the events behind the closed doors of the abortion industry but also reveals how cruel and inhumane some Pro-Lifers can become. Bottom Line:	Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. This book was an eye opener even though I have been in the prolife movement for over 10 years. It was genuinely moving while being very specific about the information it was presenting. I couldn't put it down. I read it in a day. It has given me more details to use when speaking with prochoice people not only about abortion, but specifically the agenda of Planned Parenthood. After listening to the video conference, I missed out on getting the book at the discounted rate and had to pay full price. It was so worth buying. Thank you for providing this book for the public.
