The Via Dolorosa, meaning “the sorrowful way”, is the traditional route in Jerusalem which our Lord traveled on the day of His crucifixion. Follow in Christ's footsteps, as the friars meditate on each of the 14 Stations of the Cross. Share the video with friends and family or utilize the video as a time of reflection, praying each station with the exact scripts that the friars are reading. Readings will appear on the screen along with video from the Via Dolorosa as if you were right there in Jerusalem. To engage all three senses: seeing, hearing, and feeling hold the olive wood crucifix in your hands as you meditate on Jesus and His passion. The wood is a plain, straight cut with neat and trim beveled edges. It was handcrafted in the Holy Land by family artisans. The olive wood also has beautiful light to dark marbling that is distinctive of olive wood. The wood used is pruned from olives groves, and great care is taken in selecting and drying the wood, then in carving to showcase the beautiful grains of each piece. The silver corpus is also nicely detailed with traditional styling. At eight inches tall, this traditional olive wood crucifix is also a standard height for most uses. Opening screen allows you to choose between English and Spanish.
